SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ (January 14, 2011) MedTech Holdings, Inc. a leading components and contract medical device manufacturer, today announced that its Board of Directors has named Dan Croteau, 45, to serve as the company's Chief Executive Officer. Croteau succeeds George W. Blank, MedTech's founding Chief Executive Officer. Blank will assume the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors of MedTech Holdings. The new executive appointments are effective January 17, 2011.

Croteau has over 20 years experience leading and growing a range of healthcare and manufacturing companies. Most recently, Croteau served as president of FlexMedical, the global medical products contract design and manufacturing division of Flextronics (NASDAQ: FLEX). Prior to this role he was Executive Vice President and General Manager at Accellent and responsible for driving growth and improved performance at one of their business units. He began his career at General Electric and Booz Allen & Hamilton and holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont and an MBA from Harvard University.
