Non-Shrink Ultra-Thin Polyester Tubing
Advanced Polymers can custom produce non-shrink tubing, ideally suited for precision sheaths or covers, catheter tubing and liners, insulating sleeving and viewing windows. Our heat-stabilized, non-shrink tubing remains dimensionally stable at temperatures as high as 100°C (212°F) or higher.
The major advantage of heat-stabilized, non-shrink tubing is that it is able to produce ultra-thin, high-strength and extremely precise diameters in clear or colored tubing with +/- 0.001 inch or better. In addition, in its clear version, the non-shrink tubing can transmit a broad spectrum of light including UV light for adhesive curing.
Our heat-stabilized, non-shrink tubing can be made in diameters ranging from 0.020" to 1", featuring ultra-thin walls from 0.00025" to 0.003". The heat-stabilized, non-shrink tubing may be sterilized using Ethylene Oxide, Gamma Radiation or Autoclaving. It can also be printed using numerous conventional techniques. (Note: Repeat autoclaving is not recommended.)
